oh how i miss. i really do :(

Uni started this week and so far it's been alright. I've got class everyday but i'd rather have it that way instead of having 4 or 5 cramped all in a day. Not so much of a get-it-over-and-done-with type of person when it comes to class considering how my attention span is on very short, to the extent that it's slightly worrying (because it adds to my already terrifying short term memory).

So anyways, funny thing happened the other day. I was really really for seriously dreading to go to my evening class the other day for two reasons. One, it was raining and extremely cold (for me). Two, night classes are extreme mood killers. But because it was a tutorial, i had to go. It made it better that it was digital communications cuz we get to fiddle around with the computers but that's besides the point. Computers make classes less boring. So then i reached the block 10 minutes early and i spent 5 minutes walking up and down a few classes (with people in them, mind you) trying to find my class because only one class had the number on the door. Then i bumped into 2 of my group members from last semester and one of them plucked up the courage to knock on one of the doors asking if that was room 205, and it was. So the tutor let us in and we sat in class CLUELESS while everyone else in the room looked like they were doing something productive. But we also realized that it was the same subject so all the more confused we were, we just sat there and waited for someone to respond to our confused expressions. 5 minutes later, we realized that it was the end of an earlier tutorial of the same subject. Bloody embarrassing it was hahaha. okay. maybe not that funny huh?

Oh! After a few minutes, my hot guy from last semester walked in. I found my motivation to go to my night class :)

The guys are out clubbing tonight and Joenah and I were feeling too anti-social to get up and go. heh. heh. heh.

I also have yet to unpack.

And i don't know how long this inspiration will last for but i think i might have found something that i want to pursue as a career. Concert stage designing! It never really occurred to me that concert stage designing could potentially be an option cuz well, concerts are nearly non-existent back home. But one of my design projects require us to design a concert stage so that's pretty awesome. Then i got sucked into it and started trying to dig out more information on it. Sucks that concerts aren't big enough in Brunei, meaning i'd have to work overseas.

Then again i might be a little too ambitious cuz my inspirations usually last for a short while and i can never ever find something that i really really want to do. Disappointing, really. But i guess it leaves me more options? aaahhh how ridiculous. Stop me from making excuses please?

We finally watched The Dark Knight last night. Finally! haha. But i think everyone has heard more than enough comments on it.

Ms. Lai is coming next week! Can't wait!

Since i've been back, everything's been going pretty great and i didn't think i could reach a whole new level of relaxing. I've never appreciated being able to freely drive, eat cheap GOOD food, have chillout sessions with some of the people i've missed and everything Brunei basically has to offer, this much! Excluding the fact that everything seems to be dying out ever so quickly because of the no smoking rule but who hasn't already complained about that.

So anyways, since i've been back i've...

- had a mini birthday celebration for my mom's birthday along with the family.
- took the cousins out for supper.
- hung out at seafood center and House of Ten with (i just feel like listing everyone down because i have nothing else better to do) toby, chris, min, dom, gaby, izzat, liam, peru.
- hung out with nina and weier for what seemed like 5 minutes.
- drove jerry around for the whole day and talking to him as if he was a 19 year old. i swear, he's growing too fast.
- hung out at george's place with the crazy dota people.
- watched the hulk with aziim.
- drove around aimlessly for an hour just thinking of places to go to.

and i still have to..

- EXERCISE. gym/basketball/swimming/anything!
- eat alot more cheap good food.
- meet up with whoever i haven't met up with.
- my secret mission that only joenah knows specifically of.
- go to the beach.
- stay over at empire.
- go to miri.
- dinner with the rest of the crew.
- spend more time with the family.
- bbq! with everyone!

i have a feeling i'm really gonna bawl my eyes out the next time i fly off. that sucks balls because i really really want to have a kickass holiday. Subconsciously knowing that i'm going to miss it all sorta makes me dread doing so but i guess i have to just look pass that so it's something to look back at and realize how much it was all worth! instead of limiting my er, ability to have the best time? as you can tell, i'm not very bothered to find a proper way of putting it haha. and i should also really add to that list "learn to stop seeing the negative side of things more than the positive everytime."

so yes, looking forward to the next few weeks :)

I can NOT get over how breathtaking the Burj Al-Arab is! Obviously the photographer exaggerated it with the photography skills so it's a battle between that skill and the actual building + scenery itself hahah. Must. go. when. rich. and. nothing. to. do. with. money.

I got bored while the internet was down. Don't you just hate it when you realize that you spend most of your time on the computer?

The padre's going to put me on an earlier flight back home. I'll be going back a week earlier now! :D

And so the countdown goes..

3 days til my gayass design history assignment is due.
7 days til my architectural journal is due and i'll be sitting for my gayass design history exam.
11 days til i sit for my last exam of the semester and CELEBRATE!
14 days til i get back home.

Joenah brought this up the other day. Jason Mraz and Death Cab for Cutie are coming to Brisbane and apparently, so is Joe Satriani. Definitely won't be going to Satriani's but MAN i would love to :( Not quite sure if i'll be going to Death Cab yet though. Maybe if, from now til August, i find that they're really kickass then i'll go.

But Jason Mraz? for freakin shizzle man!! It's gonna be LEGENDARY! With the whole troop.

Anyways, I was Skype-ing with the Sims last night and the little kids took over for a bit.

My cousin Brian went, "THE GUY HIDING BEHIND UNDER THE BLANKET YOU CAN SHOW YOUR FACE NOW!" Obviously, there wasn't a guy there. Then he went "Okay fine, THE GIRL HIDING UNDER THE BLANKET YOU CAN SHOW YOUR FACE NOW! Any guy or girl just show your face!"

They must really think there's something wrong with me. It's been years and no news about me seeing anyone hahaha. funneh.

I've got 3 assignments left to hand in by the 10th and 2 papers to sit for by the 14th and i'm DONE with 1st semester. Speaking of assignments, my group handed in our group assignment today and Nikki and I rewarded ourselves at the Pancake Manor. bayyyybehh! that was some good stuff.

Anyways, then on the night of my last exam, it's DEFINITELY....

The Potbelleez, Jason Morley and Habebe. Oh in tha helllllllll YEAH! :D

So it was funny how before i came to Brisbane i was all "nahh, i won't go clubbing man. i'd try it out though but i doubt i'll be a clubber. it's not my type of thing. i prefer chilling at a bar or listening to live music, peformances and stuff." Don't get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE watching live performances but i've grown to love clubbing as well haha. The music is just insanely amazing!
